Enterprises rely on their human resources, sales, and marketing departments to deliver value on a daily basis. As it stands, I think the implementation of ObamaCare will mean that Americans, who have very high expectations of our healthcare system, will have to lower those expectations considerably. Expect some screaming and kicking along the way, and rightly so. I guess it will take the rest of my lifetime for us to be resigned to a new paradigm. My own personal plan is to practice preventive medicine to the best of my ability, and stay out of the doctor’s office. I can’t control everything, but my approach is as sound as I can make it, given my circumstances and lifestyle. Procrastination is a thief of time; successful chiefs do not procrastinate.
