Gravity Media has made two additions to its business development team based in Australia. The expansion reflects the country’s status as a strategic growth target for the company, and Andrew Musgrave and Ryan Lester have both been appointed as Business Development Managers, joining Nigel Naseby, who has a long history of working closely with sporting federations on all manner of content and broadcast projects.
Lester boasts an impressive sporting background, having spent two years working on many sports productions at AE.Live Australia. During his career, he has also collaborated with major broadcasters such as Fox Sports, Channel 7, ESPN and Sky TV, as well as working on global events including the Olympic Games, the FIFA World Cup and Rugby World Cup.
Musgrave joins Gravity Media with more than 20 years of sales leadership experience gained across a range of industries. His previous role was at Boardroom.Media, where his clients included ASX listed companies, fund management firms and professional services firms. Before this, Musgrave worked with both the National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX) and the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
The Australian business development team will be responsible for identifying and delivering new opportunities that align with Gravity Media’s core propositions, as well as sustaining productive relationships with existing clients.
John Newton, CEO, Gravity Media, says there are many opportunities for business growth in Australia and bringing Musgrave and Lester into the fold alongside Naseby creates the right team for the job.
